Grassroots India has been chosen by the Odisha State Government as the first Aftercare program.
The Grassroots India WISH Network has been accepting applications from girls ages 18-21 years old who have left Odisha State Child Care Institutions. Grassroots India’s Hariharananda Vocational Training Center provides a shelter, medical aid, and vocational and life skill training tor young village girls who are trying to be self-sufficient. Every child accepted into the program will be given daily training in the subjects of interest to the child. Any girl between the ages of 18 and 28 can apply for full residential scholarships.
