For young women in rural Odisha, the path to independence is often blocked by systemic poverty, limited educational access, and prevailing patriarchal norms. Many of these girls come from homes struggling with instability, those who want a better future for themselves.
Since 2018, the Guru Krupa Foundation (GKF) has been a vital partner in helping these young women find their footing. Based in New York, GKF follows a holistic philosophy to charity that aligns perfectly with our mission to provide relief, education, and basic care to underprivileged girls.

We are thrilled to announce the continuation of GKF’s support for this coming year. By funding our operational costs, GKF ensures that our doors remain open. This year’s grant allows us to serve a growing cohort of 25–30 residents, aged 16 to 28, who reside at the Hariharananda Vocational Training Center. This funding allows us to provide vocational training, life skills and leadership training.
We are deeply grateful for the Guru Krupa Foundation’s unwavering commitment. Together, we are fostering the resilience and confidence these young women need to transform their lives.
